Progress - measuring what matters

Volleyball Canada believes in transparency, measuring progress and celebrating success along the way.  Our progress page is dedicated to keeping track of the critical areas for improvement and holding all of us accountable to growing the game we love.

Below are some of the larger areas that we need to address to move our development system forward.  We hope the entire Canadian Volleyball community will take on these challenges to grow our game to new levels.

  • Increase sport capacity – facilities, coaches, officials, classifiers, instructors

While sitting volleyball as a sport is seeing growth, there is a consistently greater demand for resources. Resources can be anything from facilities to equipment to referees. Along with partners such as the Canadian Paralympic Committee, we have been working on developing capacity via sport equipment programs, coach education programs, etc. Visit www.volleyball.ca for more information on programs that can assist your organization to get started.
